OVERVIEW

Nepal is an independent country in Southern Asia, between the Tibet autonomous region of China and India. It contains 8 of the world’s 10 highest peaks, including Mount Everest – the world’s tallest – on the border with Tibet, and Lumbini, the birth place of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.

Swayambhunath Temple: Relax in your own private vehicle as you cover all of the historical highlights in this tour. After pick up from hotel, travel to SWAYAMBHUNAT, a hilltop temple famous for it monkey population. See the famous mountain peaks surrounding the Kathmandu Valley from this out of the way temple which is best reached by car.

Pashupatinath Temple: Continue to tick off the city’s Highlights with visit to PASHUPATINAT, a massive river side Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Boudhanath Stupa: The BOUDHANATH Stupa has stood as a beacon of Buddhist belief,towering over the surrounding town as a giant mandala of peace and beauty and also giant eyes. It’s located on the old trade route with Tibet and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Patan Durbar Square: PATAN Durbar Square is situated at the centre of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It’s one of the Durbar Square in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO world heritage sites. One of its attraction is the ancent royal place where the Malla King of Lalitpur resided.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: World Heritage Site, is one of three Durbar Squares within Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. Durbar Square (durbar translates to “palace” or “a court held by a prince”) is an important site for Buddhist and Hindu rituals, holy ceremonies, royal events, and kingly coronations. Surrounded by fountains, ancient statues, small ponds, and a series of courtyards such as Mohan Chok and Sundari Chok, Kathmandu Durbar Square is a meditative, religious site for spiritual seekers. Within the inner complex of Durbar Square is the site of the Old Royal Palaces (referred to as the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex). The Royal Palaces used to house the kings of the Shah and Malla Dynasty, who ruled over the city until the 19th-century. The palaces have since been turned into
museums.

Pokhara: Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake. On the eastern shore, the Lakeside district has yoga centers and restaurants. In the city’s south, the International Mountain Museum has exhibits on the history of mountaineering and the people of the Himalayas. Pokhara’s spellbinding beauty has been the subject of many travel writers. Its pristine air, the spectacular backdrop of the snowy peaks of the Annapurna Range and the serene Phewa, Begnas and Rupa Lakes, makes this destination ‘the Jewel of the Himalaya’ Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Many tourists visit Pokhara Valley to see the Himalayan range and lakes. Pokhara is also famous for boating, trekking, rafting and extreme sports like rafting, canoeing and bungee jumping.

Ghandruk: Ghandruk Village lies in the Annapurna Conservation Area. Ghandruk Village is one of the must visit villages of Nepal. There are more than 45,000 trekkers enjoy the great Himalayan views, peaceful and beautiful villages in Annapurna Trekking each year and they do not leave this village due to its rich bio-diversity, unique Gurung culture and scenic landscape. The first pilot project of ACAP was launched in Ghandruk Village Development Committee in 1986. A trekker can find the forest full of rhododendron, streams, waterfalls, on the way to Ghandruk Village. The Ghandruk trekking is a short trekking, fit for anyone at any time. We can see the spectacular mountain view of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Lamjung Himal and others. Ghandruk is situated at an altitude of 1,950 m above the sea level, is a trekker’s paradise and one of the most famous Gurung settlements in Nepal. Ghandruk VDC, with 986 households and 5529 population (according to census year 2011), covers a vast area with Modi Khola in east, Deurali, Ranidanda and Tangsing in west, Annapurna Ranges in the north and Modi and Sandhi Khola in south. Majority of people living in Ghandruk VDC are Gurungs (56%), Dalits (30%) and Khas-Aryas and others (14%). Ghandruk, a touristic village with nearly 300 households, is a community based responsible and eco-tourism in Nepal. Ghandruk is a Gurung village with stone-roof traditional small houses. More than eight micro hydro projects have fulfilled the demand of electricity at a time.Most of the people in Ghandruk are associated with hospitality industry. The first hotel in Ghandruk was established in 1970 AD, named Fishtail Hotel by Shanker Man Gurung. In 1995, Japanese Mountaineers group led by the world’s first woman Everest summiteers Ms.Junko Tabei visited Ghandruk village and they were highly impressed due to red carpet welcome in this community.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT KATHMANDU

Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel. Pre-Trip meeting and Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 02: FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING AT KATHMANDU

02:Full day sightseeing in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Stay at Hotel

Day 3
DAY 03: KATHMANDU TO POKHARA TRANSFER

After breakfast, you will proceed for a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (827 m), 200 km, 6-7 hrs. After arrival at Pokhara check-in hotel and free time. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 4
DAY 04: POKHARA TO GHANDRUK

Drive to Nayapul (1050 m), 1 hr, then trek to Ghandruk (1,950 m), 6 hrs. Stay at Guest House.

Day 5
DAY 05: EXPLORE GHANDRUK

Explore Ghandruk Village, visit museum and handicrafts center etc.

Day 6
DAY 06: NAYAPAL TREK AND BACK TO POKHARA

Trek back to Nayapul from Ghandruk, 6 hrs, then drive back to Pokhara, 1 hr. Stay Night at Hotel.

Day 7
DAY 07: SARANGKOT VISIT

Drive to Sarangkot early in the morning and sightseeing after lunch. Stay Hotel at night.

Day 8
DAY 08: POKHARA FREE DAY

After breakfast, you have free day to explore the city life of pokhara, beauty of fewa lake or you can do any of adventure activities in the city pokhara (with your own cost). Overnight stay at Pokhara.

Day 9
DAY 09: POKHARA TO KATHMANDU

After breakfast, you will check-out from Pokhara Hotel and transfer to Kathmandu, the journey will take 6-7 hrs. On the way visit Chandagiri Cable car. After arriving at Kathmandu, check in to Hotel. Evening free time. Overnight Stay  at Hotel.

Day 10
DAY 10: DEPARTURE

After breakfast, you will check out from hotel and transfer to Kathmandu International Airport to catch your return journey with a lot of sweet memories of these remarkable tour of your life.
